Description
Discovered by our friend, author and renowned cider expert and advocate, James Crowden, growing in a hedge outside the village of Burstock in the Marshwood Vale, Dorset.
It is a seedling tree, producing handsome large red fruit.
The juice is bittersharp, with lots of tannin and acidity, a strong character! Liz Copas has suggested it could have Kingston Black as a parent.
