Description
Brown Snout produces a mild to medium bittersweet juice of good quality. It is a traditional variety originating from Hereford during the mid 19th century. Its late flowering habit makes it a useful variety for growing in low lying areas or frost pockets. Tree are medium sized with upright growth. Brown Snout apples are similar in appearance to Michelin but with a characteristic russet around the eye.
