Description
One of the Dorset apple varieties saved by Liz Copas and Nick Poole as part of the Dorest Apple Tree Analysis Project (DATA).
Frome River is ready for havesting in Late September and yields a lovely clear pink juice. It has a fairly balanced flavour profile with some floral perfumed wine gum aroma. A good candidate for making a Somerset farmhouse type single variety cider.
