Description
An excellent Cox-offspring, originally from Germany, producing large juicy apples, rich in flavour - much like Cox's Orange Pippin itself. The trees are vigorous and strong growing - they make a great alternative to trying to grow Cox in the wetter parts of the UK as it is much more naturally disease-free. A great variety for juicing, the Holstein will keeps for several months over the autumn/winter.
A triploid variety, so good to have a couple of other apple trees nearby for pollination.
