Description
Langworthy is an old Devon cider apple, also known as Wyatt's Seedling in Somerset and was widely planted around Exeter, Crediton and Whimple as a high quality late sharp.
It is a good cropper and makes a large and spreading tree.
According to Liz Copas's Cider Apples Pomona, it won first prize as a mild sharp in the 1932 Cider Competition at Long Ashton.
A great variety for a late season pressing.
