Description
A Cornish apple also known as The Rattler and Primrose. It is a very vigorous and sturdy tree producing large crops of yellow apples with a pink flush, late August/September.
It makes a sharp eating apple or good cooking apple - will be good for juicing. Thanks to A Cornish Pomona (James Evans and Mary Martin, 2014) for the info on this variety.
