Description
Slack-ma-Girdle is a late sweet cider apple, commonly found in old Devon orchards. It has much in common with the varieties Northwood and Woodbine, which it is sometimes mistaken for, producing a rich full-bodied cider with a pleasant ‘woody’ aroma. It makes a strong, good sized tree. Apples are ready to be picked in November but will hang on the trees until January.
