Description
One of the latest ripening pears, ready to pick in November. It is an old Belgian variety, and also considered one of the very tastiest pears you can grow! However, its full flavour potential will only be reached if it is grown in the very sunniest of spots, which means against a south facing wall or fence, or in a polutunnel or greenhouse.
It is a weak growing tree and not terribly disease resistant, so this tree does come with a warning for those with less-than-ideal growing conditions!
