One of the Dorset apple varieties saved by Liz Copas and Nick Poole as part of the Dorest Apple Tree Analysis Project (DATA).
Winter Stubbard is a Medium Bittersweet Cider variety which ripens around Mid October. The Juice itself is crystal clear with a well defined spicy aroma and moderate astringency. Blends well with a sweeter variety.
